Graveside services for C.D. Hendrick, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Concord Cemetery off of Hwy 9 in Waskom, TX with Brother Ron Johnson and Brother Tommy Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside.

C.D. was born July 18, 1938 in Hector, AR to Garland and Essie Hendrick and went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He greatly enjoyed being a music director at various churches for many years. He loved woodworking. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his world.

C.D. was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jo Cabiness. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Yvonne Hendrick; children, Bill Hendrick (Mona) and Christi Menting; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a great-great-grandchild on the way.

Honoring C.D. as pallbearers will be Jarrod Menting, Colt Tinney, Caleb Hendrick, Corey Reed, Russ Hunter, and Jose Carbahal.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Aime Hospice and the 8th floor staff of WK Pierremont for their care.
