It is with great sadness that family of Robert A. Marcotte “Bob” announces his passing on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Bob was born on October 3, 1936 in Derry, New Hampshire and stayed in his hometown until moving to Florida in 1988. He worked as a talented car salesman at Allen Motors of Derry and retired after 30 years of service. Every customer became a friend, and every friend became like family. In his free time, he built huge cement sculptures because he could never just sit still. Bob was a faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness. He had a very out going personality and his great sense of humor will truly be missed. Bob was an avid yardsaler, always striking up a deal. He was always eating ice cream and hanging out with his friends and family at “Micky D’s”.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence A. Marcotte, mother, Anna Tateau-Marcotte, sister, Lilian Pattanade, brother, Philip Marcotte, and his first wife, Leona Mae Huntley Marcotte. Bob will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Ana L. Marcotte, of Inverness, FL and his children, Bobby (Sue), Larry, Sheri (Bill), Sandy (Brett), Barbie (Jazz), Tina (Jim), Angel and Renzo (Ursula). Bob will also be fondly remembered by his brother Jim (Susan), sister in law Carmen (George), his 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.

The Service of Remembrance for Bob will be held 3:00pm Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Friends may call from 2-4pm Friday. Interment and graveside services will be conducted by Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry on Tuesday, November 6th at 11:00am in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
