Dianne Lois Cook passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2018. She was born May 1st, 1955 in Conroe, Texas. She was a 4th generation Conroeite and 5th generation Texan. She was granddaughter of the late O.G. Williams and Lois Griffin Williams, and the late Anderson and Evelyn Hardamon. She is preceded in death by her father, Bob R. Hardamon and stepfather, Dr. Louis F. Brignac.

She was a graduate of Natchitoches High School class of ’73, and The Ben Shaw School of Modeling in Houston, Texas. She attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She was an avid fan of The Houston Astros, The San Antonio Spurs, and UT Football. She loved animals and gardening. She was an accomplished artist, especially gifted in painting and crafting. She enjoyed going to live concerts and loved Blues music, Delbert McClinton, and Vince Gill.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 44 years, Foster B. Cook; children, Stephanie Cook, Chris Cook and wife, Leslie, and Griffin Cook and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Logan Cook, Liam Cook, and Lyle Cook; mother, Suzanne Williams Brignac; brother, Gary Hardamon; sister, Suzanne Welch, and husband Ben, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends, especially Cindy Orman and Susan Griffiths. Also survived by her 4-legged children, Lillie Belle and Maxwell and granddogs, Polly and Murphy.

Dianne’s family extends their thanks to Traditions Hospice, especially Julia, and to Dr. Christine Lee and staff, for their care and compassion.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Dianne’s name to Montgomery County Animal Shelter, 8535 TX-242, Conroe, Texas 77385.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands. Committal service will take place at Conroe Memorial Park immediately following the funeral.

Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Davis, Carl Boutotte, Joey Welch, James Cook, Chris Cook and Griffin Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Welch, Rocky Jones, Eddie Mangham, and Kim Scott.
