Susan Marie Butler, age 60, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018 with her sisters at her side. Susan was born on December 28, 1957 in Seattle to Joseph and Rosemarie Butler. Susan attended and graduated from Seattle Public Schools in 1978, shortly after the passage of the Education for All Handicapped Children Act. Susan’s work career began at Olympus Electronics and after many years, she transitioned to community-based work experiences at St. Therese School in Seattle and Highline College Community and Employment Services. Her contributions went well beyond her daily work tasks. She always brought wit and determination, a ready smile and unconditional kindness to all of whom she encountered. Susan truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; enjoying family, snacking, watching movies, music and socializing with others.

Susan was predeceased in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, brothers Michael Butler (Deanna) and Tom Butler (Kathleen), sisters Carol Ballata (Joe) and Lori Pollett (Dennis). She is also survived by her precious nieces and nephews: Courtney, Lexi, Savanah, Joey, Noelle, Daniella and Kyle.
