His wife was Annie M. Biesecker, daughter of Samuel Stoner Biesecker. 1900 United States Federal Census shows Annie living in Chambersburg with parents Samuel and Elizabeth and indicates she was born April, 1866. Leonard and Annie married July 10, 1905 in Hagerstown, Maryland. They had a stillborn son June 11, 1908. According to Leonard's obituary, there was also a 2 year old daughter. The obituary was published in the 'Public Opinion' December 7, 1907. 1930 United States Federal Census for her in Oak Lynn, New Jersey as Annie M. Dornberger, living with 24 year old daughter, Elizabeth M. Annie was 45 in 1930. Her father's 1930 obituary and her step-mom's 1937 obituary verify she did live in Camden and then Oak Lynn, New Jersey. In 1940, she was living in Camden again.
