PASTUZYN, Joseph age 93, died Wednesday October 31,2018 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick NJ. Born October 9, 1925 in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late Panko and Fannie [Mankiw] Pastuzyn.
He was predeceased by wives Irene and Ann, son Thomas, daughter Rene, and siblings John, Anna Collins, Mary, William, Michael, Solie, and Sophie Petrus. Surviving are: daughter Jane and her husband Daniel Lenz of Addison, TX, daughter Karen and her husband David Hollabaugh of Middletown, NJ, son Joseph J. and his wife Grace Daines of Midland, MI and grandchildren Jonathan Lenz, Elissa, Adam, and Nathan Pastuzyn.
Joseph served in the US Navy, and was an honorably discharged veteran of World War II. Joseph was a past president of the American Legion Post 165 in Bayonne, NJ.
Visitation will be at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723 on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 1-3pm & 7-9pm. In honoring Joe's request to be buried with two of his brothers, interment will be at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562 on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, 2:30pm in the chapel.
