Linda Marie Woody was born in Chehalis, Wash. on January 6, 1962 and passed on May 27, 2015 at the age of 53. Linda was a Western Washington University graduate and held a Master's Degree in Education. Upon graduating from Western, Linda began teaching at Mukilteo Elementary School, where she taught for the past 27 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam H. Woody Jr. Linda will be greatly missed by her husband, Scott; children, Tanner, Jeff and Tiffany; her mother, Evelyn; brothers, Sam and Pat, and other close family. She also leaves behind many of those near and dear to her whose lives she touched in the Mukilteo Community. A memorial service is being held at The New Life Center in Everett, on June 19, 2015 at 1 p.m. The family has set up a scholarship fund in Linda's honor for high school graduates that wish to become teachers like Linda.
Linda may have been small in stature but her loss leaves a huge hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
