Susie P. Carter (1928 - 2018)
Clarksville - went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 28, 2018.

Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was born in Bethpage, TN to Thomas and Ida Adams in 1928. Susie was married in the 1950s to Louis H. Carter Jr. and the happy couple were blessed with 13 children. Susie and Louis built a caring home to raise their children and Susie took pride in her family. She was a long time member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a devout child of God. She will greatly be missed.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Carter Jr.; children, Joe Louis Carter III, Darlene Becoats, Robert Carter, Michael Carter, and Phillip Carter; and siblings, Lassie Harris and Thomas Adams.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Barbara J. Harrington, Malinda Brown, Benjamin C. Carter, Virginia Woodbeck, Barbara J. Douglas, Lavenia McDaniel (Bobby), Scott W. Carter, and John E. Carter; 42 grandchildren; siblings, Bessie Nealy, Lizzie Rice, Ruth Adams, and Rachelle Adams; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Susie's honor on Friday, November 2 at 2:30pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3640 River Park Drive. All floral deliveries need to be addressed to the church. The Neptune Society of Kentucky was awarded the honor of preforming Susie's cremation.
