Lois P. COWAN, 90, of Perryton, Texas died Tuesday, October 230, 2018 in Perryton. Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery in Balko, OK, officiated by Dixie HARGUES. Arrangements are made by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mrs. COWAN was born on April 3, 1928 in Woodward County, OK to Oliver DARBY and Mildred Hedrick DARBY. She married Hal Wesley COWAN, on Jan. 8, 1949 in Canadian. During their marriage she was with her husband in Bolivia, Angola, Portuguese West Africa, Iran, Columbia and France while he worked int he oilfields.
Mrs. COWAN was preceded in death by her parents, and husband H. W. (Hal) COWAN.
Mrs. COWAN is survived by two daughters, Valerie KARBER and husband Braden of Perryton, and Diedra PISHA and husband Ron of Montgomery; one grandson, John HUCKABY; two granddaughters, Brada HARGUES and Bana CORTEZ; and five great-grandchildren, Brenden LANE, Brice LANE, Barrett LANE, Breanna CASTANON and Colton CASTANON.
The family requests memorial to one's favorite charity.
