Rites To Be Held Saturday Morning
Funeral services for Mrs. John Koch, 73, of 554 S. 33rd St., Manitowoc, mother of Ervin H. Schwab, 345 Evans St., will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock the Pfeffer Funeral Home in Manitowoc and at 10 o'clock at St. Paul's Catholic Church in that city. The Rev. Clement Kern will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
Mrs. Koch died Tuesday at a hospital in Meza, Ariz., following a heart attack. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Helen Schwartz.
She was formerly Mathilda Zingsheim and was born in Manitowoc Jan. 27, 1884(sic), and resided there all her life. In 1901 she married Herman Schwab and he died in 1928. She married John Koch in 1938.
Survivors besides the daughter in Arizona and son in Oshkosh are a step-daughter, Mrs. Bernice Christie, New London, Conn.; a step-son, John Koch Jr., Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Albert Zingsheim, Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Mary Daniels, Shawano; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Manitowoc Friday afternoon after 4 o'clock and until the time of the services. The rosary will be prayed Friday evening.
