Birdie Boatman, age 102, of Banning, CA., passed away August 10, 2004 in her home with her children at her side. She was born March 27, 1902 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was a former resident of Corona, CA for 50 years. Birdie was a homemaker for 75 years. She retired from Hunts-Wesson Foods in Fullerton in 1958. Birdie is survived by her daughters, Genetta (Pete) Berwick of Oroville, CA and Wanda (Marla) Steadman of Banning, CA; sons, Arland (Sammie) Boatman of Anderson, CA and Bill (Raylene) Boatman of Fontana, CA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Graveside Services 8/13, 1 pm at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to V.N.A. Hospice of the Inland Counties, 264 N.
