He was born in Bryant Alabama, a son of the late Alex and Sally Mae Bryant.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was part owner of Chatsworth Tufting Machinery. Roy was a kind - hearted , loving Husband, Father , and Papaw .His greatest joy was his family.
He is preceded in death by his sweet wife of 63 years, Janie Jeanell Bryant and twin daughters Jana and Dana.
He is survived by his children Skip and Victoria Ferguson, Roy Lee Jr and Leisa Bryant , and Lloyd Bryant and Melinda Carroll. Several siblings , Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lane Funeral Home- South Crest Chapel on November 2nd from 12pm - 2pm , Service will be in the Chapel at 2 pm, and gravesite service at 3 pm at The Tennessee- Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
