Billie went to college in her 40s afterwards securing a job with Adult Protective Services in Washington County. She was a strong advocate for the elderly in Washington County for many years until her retirement. Billie had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star for more than 50 years where she enjoyed many fond friendships while working for the Order. Billie was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta where she sang in the choir until she was unable.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer, a granddaughter, Koren Bailey, a grandson Canton Sparks, a brother, Dewey Conley, and a sister, Ruth Kinder.
Billie is survived by two daughters, Pamela (Robert) Myers and Loretta Coe, all of Marietta, and 7 grandchildren, Kathy (Sean Merrill) Dawson, Jason Dawson, and Aaron Bailey, all of Marietta; Krixten (Roe) Bules of Lowell; Nathan (Lara) Toon of Missouri; Rob Myers of Oklahoma; and Randy (Ashley) Myers of North Carolina; as well as 26 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Billie, also leaves behind three brothers, Herb Conley, of Cincinnati; Rich Conley, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Terry Conley, of Blackstone, Virginia; and three sisters, Martha Craft, of South Point, Ohio; Garnet Graham, of Middletown, Ohio; and Randee Parker, of Gahanna, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 pm Saturday, November 3rd at First Baptist Church in Marietta with Pastor Chad Mugrage officiating. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery. McClure-Schafer-Funeral Home is serving the family.
