Virginia M. (McManus) Corbett of Hingham passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at age 93. Born and raised in South Boston, she lived in Braintree for most of her life. The beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Corbett with whom she shared 72 years of marriage, Virginia was the loving mother of Thomas Corbett and his wife Terri of Abington, Michael Corbett of South Boston, Matthew Corbett of Hyannis, Nancy Burke of Pembroke, Regina Dembowski and her husband Paul of Weymouth and the late Patricia Corbett Black and Doreen Heinrich. Sister-in-law of Al Cormier, she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will follow at Sacred Heart Church, 55 Commercial St., Weymouth Landing. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA
