Jack I. Murray, 88, of Bellevue, Kentucky passed away on October 27, 2018. Jack was born February 28, 1930 in Dayton, KY to Atla Murray and Louise Hoffman Murray. Jack was in the graduating class of 1948 of Dayton High School. United States Veteran of the Marine Corp, he was owner & operator of the Cincinnati Clock & Instrument Co. for 40 yrs. Lifetime member of the NRA, former chairman of the Bellevue Planning & Zoning Commission, member of St. John's Anglican Catholic Church where he was vestry member for years. He was also a member of the Campbell County Game & Fish Assoc., and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joyce L. (Stratemeyer) Murray. Jack is survived by his Son, Michael (Julie) Murray, Daughter, Holly Murray Buchanan, Grandchildren, Christopher (Kaitlin) Murray, Brittany Murray (Wes) Diehl, Andrew Buchanan, and Allison Buchanan, Great Grandchild, Grayson Murray. Visitation 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Friday, November 2, 2018, at St. John's Anglican Catholic Church, Dayton, with Rev. Timothy Butler, officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the St. John's Anglican Catholic Church, 619 O'Fallon Ave., Dayton, KY 41074 or to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 7388 Turfway Rd., Florence, KY 41042.
