On December 27, 1963 Karen was united in marriage to Allyn A. Elletson in Williston, ND. They remained in Williston raising their four sons.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Clayton; husband, Allyn A. Elletson; brother-in-law, Gene Lindsey; one granddaughter, Kinley and one great-grandson, Daxton.
