He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the South Vietnam army. Survivors: wife, Phile B.; sons, Michael Bruce, Orlando, Jason Bruce, Cincinnati; daughters, Carol, Kathy, both of Orlando, Cuthia Snyder, Sarasota, Jenity Bruce, Cincinnati; two grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home-Forest City Chapel, Altamonte Springs.
