A lifetime area resident, Mr. Gallagher was the owner-operator of Gallagher Lumber. He had traveled all of the United States, as well as to numerous other countries in his many years, and was an avid tractor enthusiast.
On March 29, 1948, Leo married Doris C. Gallagher who preceded him in death in 1986. Also preceding were his brothers William and John Gallagher. Survivors include his children Daniel Gallagher, Terry Gallagher and Karen Gallagher all of Mantua and Kathleen Alger of Shalersville, and 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
