Per his obituary, Dave joined the US Air Force after high school and was sent to Indiana U where he trained to be a Polish language linguist. He was stationed in Germany where he married his fiancee from the US, Harriet Nichols. In 1960 the family returned to Indiana U where Dave earned his accounting degree. He went on to work in accounting and finance, first in Chicago and later in Southern California. A resident of Roswell and the Atlanta area since 2005, Dave was survived by his wife Harriet; daughters Mary, Beverly, and Carolyn; sister Karen; as well as six grandchildren.
