Glenda Bell Jenkins, 65, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Kizzie Bell, Sr. and Alice Cordelia Bell (Corthon) of Cartersville, Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger D. Jenkins, Sr. and brother, Kenneth Steven Bell.
Glenda is survived by her mother; brothers, Thomas Kizzie Bell, Jr. of North Chesterfield, Virginia and Levitt Wade Bell of Powhatan, Virginia; children, Keith Wade Jenkins, Roger Dale Jenkins Jr. (wife Sarah Hawkins Jenkins) and Karen Lynn Barker (husband Matthew Shane Barker); grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Jenkins, Austin Dale Jenkins, Jesse Keith Barker, Emily Caitlynn Barker, and Trinity Marie Jenkins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Bucher officiating. Burial will follow at Craigs Baptist Church Cemetery, Spotsylvania, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jesse Barker, Austin Jenkins, Fred Beebe, Steve Jones, Matt Barker and Bernard Carr.
