Phyllis Jean Curtis, 60 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died October 28, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born January 11, 1958 at Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of James Gordon Barker and Alice Janie Yeager Barker. Phyllis married Windy John Curtis. She worked in accounting at Wal Mart and enjoyed crochet and collecting owls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, son and grandson.
Survivors include son Lance Denton and wife Kerry of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; sister Pam Simmons of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; step daughters Amber Curtis of Enid, Oklahoma and Erin Ladner of Chalmette, Louisiana; half sister Twila Morrison of San Dimas, California; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will be at Kansas Cemetery, Kansas, Oklahoma. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Simmons Bank, Phyllis Curtis Fund.
