Ralph, 88, 200 Marker Road, Versailles, died at 8:10 a.m., at the Versailles Health Care Center.

He was born to William Henry and Rachel Ethel (Runkel) Deitsch. On June 25, 1950, he married Willa Rumpff, who survives in Versailles.

Also surviving are a son, Collin (Linda), Spencerville; a daughter, Evaun (Jerry) Flint, Greenville; three brothers, Gene (Clara), Wisconsin, John (Rosemary), Rockford, and Carl (Delores), Celina; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Deceased are three brothers, Gerald, Lloyd and Andrew; and seven sisters, Mary Colson, Mildred Mentzer, Ivy Mong, Velva Goubeau, Dorothy Larrie, Mable Denny and Ruth Young.

He worked as a carpenter until he retired and then worked at the The Daily Standard, Celina. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving as staff sergeant on the Hawaiian coast.
