Marie Mathis Fountain, 89, a retired homemaker, of Collins, died April 17, 2004, at Covington County Hospital.
The funeral was held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Covington County on April 19 with burial in Blakney Creek Cemetery, Collins. Tutor Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Freddie Mathis of Collins; daughter, Jean Dudley of Byram; sister, Rosa Lewis of Mt. Olive; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
