Charles Thomas “Tom”, 68, husband of Carol Mateyoke, died October 28, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Born June 11, 1950 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late George and Betty Mateyoke Smith. Mr. Mateyoke had been employed for 42 years with Windstream where he was the Manager of Local Operations, and was a volunteer for Crime Stoppers. Survivors other than his wife include three sons, David and Becki, Greg and Julie, Paul and Kat; 11 grandchildren, Hannah, Nick, Parker-Ann, Erika, Johnathon, Reece, Cameron, Clay, Ruth, Jimmy, and Levi; one great granddaughter, Tinley; two brothers, Rick and wife Dale, and Chris and wife Sue; and one sister, Paula. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Thurs., Nov. 1, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Rd. by Bro. Bennie Hill. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
