ELKHART-Maxine J. Baker, 95, passed away October 27, 2018 at Riverside Village. She was born July 5, 1923 in Elkhart to Edward & Teresa (Schuelke) Hursh.
She married Gary Baker; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Carol Brumbaugh and brother, Edward Hursh.
Surviving is 1 son, Ken Brumbaugh, 4 step-children, James Baker, Ron Baker, Robin Baker, Gary Baker, 7 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Maxine worked part time at ECM Photo Tooling Co as a Secretary for over 26 years. She was also a member of the Elkhart Women of the Moose and a previous member of Trinity Lutheran Church
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
