Ann Blanche dePierre Morrison returned to Jesus on May 31, 2018, passing peacefully in her sleep. She was born May 26, 1943 to Camille Francois and Katherine dePierre in California. She was Finnish and French, quite the combination of talent and beauty. She had a tenacious spirit, an unprecedented gift for attracting people, and a wild passion for QVC treasures. She grew up developing street-smart survival skills and an uncanny knack for shrewd negotiation. She bargained her way through thrift shops and yard sales and always saved for a rainy day.

She had an eye for coordinated Christmas décor, carried a flame for Elvis, and an even bigger flame for Jesus. Right was right and wrong was wrong as the Bible tells us. Though illness and loss weighed on her in the last quarter of her life, she showed unshakable strength and hope each difficult day. She expressed an unwavering faith in Christ.

We honor the life she lived, a sacred gift that shaped our hearts and lives in nuanced ways.

Ann is survived by her husband Darrell Morrison of Pocatello, Idaho, her three daughters: Sherry of Pilot Peak, Utah, Melanny (Daren) Henson Osborn of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Jenny (Stephen) Buck of Ehrenberg, Arizona, her granddaughter Jessica Moses (James) of Logan, Utah, her granddaughter Cassy Bath of Logan, Utah as well as four younger grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Cam dePierre (Yvonne) of Dana Point, California, her sister Bernice Vivanco (Javier) of Hemet, California, her sister Shirley Daily of Kelseyville, California, her sister Yvonne Lane of Hemet, California, her sister JoAnn dePierre of Bellflower, California, her twin brothers David and Abel dePierre and her sister Rosie dePierre of California. She was preceded in death by her sisters Carol and Hannah, and her brother Elijah.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 8th at Webb Funeral Home 1005 S 800 E in Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
