Opal Jaquita Sharp, 91, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born June 6, 1927 in Booneville, Arkansas to the late Opal and Doxie (Bush) McLemore.

She was a retired nurse’s aide. She worked at the nursing home in Booneville and the Area Agency on Aging. She was a member of the Mixon Baptist Church. She loved going to garage sales and going to church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rel V. Sharp; one son, James Rel Sharp; one daughter, Sherry Kaye Forrester; one brother, Marvin McLemore; Two Sisters, Juanita Black and Omega Parks; and her parents before mentioned.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, with burial in Mixon Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Stanley Sharp (Chrissy) of Booneville; one daughter, Nancy Cox (Thomas) of Booneville; one sister, Emma Atkins (Bill) of Fort Smith; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be Wednesday 10:00 A.M. til 7:00 P.M.
