Funeral services for Lori J. Baxter Douglas will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Glenn Lenard officiating. Interment will follow at New Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the funeral home.
Lori was born November 9, 1962 in Monroe, LA and passed away October 27, 2018 in Monroe, LA. Lori is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Roberts Baxter; and brother, James Ellis Baxter.
Lori was a Wet Lab Technician at Graphic Packaging International for over 30 years. She attended Lapine Assembly of God. Lori’s #1 hobby was her son, “Nick”. She loved hunting, fishing, being with “my boy” and Saints Football. She is survived by her father, Johnny F. Baxter, Sr.; her sons, Nicholas Kyle Douglas, Kenneth Scott Douglas, and Justin Michael Douglas; sister, Melinda Lively (Donnie); brother, Johnny F. Baxter, Jr. (Betty); brother, Larry D. Baxter; nieces, Melanie, Meleaha, Bethani, and Breanna; nephew, Johnny Lee; and special friends, Johnnie Lamb, Sandy Lenard, and Mike and Amy Curry.
