BURCHAM, Charles Eugene, 81, of Richmond, Virginia, died October 25, 2018. Born October 28, 1936, he was preceded in death by his wife, Belva Doris Albright Burcham; parents, Charles Columbus Burcham and Phoebe "Kate" Smith Burcham; three brothers and a sister. He is survived by three sons, Richard Keith Burcham (Marilyn), Gary Kevin Burcham (Beckie), both of Oklahoma, and John A. Zinn III (Josh) of Richmond, Virginia; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Chuck served his country for 20 years in the Marine Corps, which included two tours in Vietnam. His second career was with CSX Railroad as a signalman. In retirement, he worked for Kelleher Corporation, where he developed many lasting relationships. Chuck’s hobbies included golf, watching westerns and cheering for the Washington Nationals. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 28, at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., where a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 29. Interment in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck’s name to the American Cancer Society.
