Diana Carol Thayer, 52, of Boulder Creek, CA, unexpectedly passed away in an automobile accident on October 17. Born on March 18, 1966, in San Francisco, CA, Diana was the daughter of Peter J. Roddy and the late Janet Caetano Roddy. She attended Santa Teresa High School and college in San Jose. Diana married on November 30th, 2004 in Boulder Creek, CA. She was also the founder and owner of Natural Delights candles.
Diana was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, family member and friend. She was extremely active in her community and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed attending her sons sporting events, music, laughing, holidays, crafts, literature, gardening, fresh flowers, reading books under the Redwoods, live concerts, family and friends gatherings—and so much more. While her sons were the greatest joy in her life, she was also very passionate about helping others and her community and often assisted at the local schools with Art Masterpiece Theater, crafts, and reading groups. She was also active in scouting. Her loving and selfless nature along with her irresistibly contagious laugh and excellent sense of humor that will never be forgotten.
Diana will be missed forever and always lovingly remembered by Husband Scott Thayer, her children Skylar and Tanner, Brother Anthony (Stephanie) Roddy and Niece Janet, Step Mother Sally, Brother-in law Todd (Volita), Christopher (Jennifer), Phillip (Tiffany), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Diana's Life will be held on November 24, from 1-5 PM at the Los Gatos Lodge in Los Gatos, CA.
