Marilyn, 93, of Farwell, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. She was the daughter of Leroy and Edith (Foor) Brown.
She married Robert Kreighbaum on October 28, 1942 and he preceded her in death on January 16, 1981. Marilyn sang with the Farwell United Methodist Church Choir for 20 years. She worked for the Schofield Insurance Agency in Farwell, sold real estate for Bill Scott Real Estate and worked at the Mill End Shoe Store in Clare.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Joyce Ann (Kreighbaum) Hagaman, PhD, of Grand Ledge and Nova Scotia, Nancy (Kreighbaum) and Bob Sullivan of Farwell, Bobbi (Kreighbaum) and Larry Gibson of Lake, and Deb (Kreighbaum) and Doug Larner of Gladwin; her grandchildren, Jacob and Denise Sullivan of Houghton Lake, Joshua and Heidi Fenner of Manton, Jessica (Sullivan) and Chad Schmenk of Denver, CO, Sara (Gibson) and John Freestone of Kalamazoo, Megan (Gibson) and Mike Howard of Kalamazoo, Tricia (Gibson) and Erik Witte of Austin, TX, Kelly Larner and Shawn Larner of Gladwin, Erin (Larner) and Dave Sincissen, Teresa (Larner) and Doug Laskowski, and Andy Larner , all of Chesaning; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Beva Lee Smith of Grand Ledge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son-in-law, Tom Hagaman, and her grandson, Christopher Sullivan.
A funeral service for Marilyn was held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Farwell Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Apps officiating.
