Michael Lawrence Devlin, 62, of Greeneville, TN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 26, 2018.

Michael was born September 4, 1956 in Clearwater, FL. Growing up he was an active member of the Boy Scouts, and later recognized as an Eagle Scout. He served in the Army and began his career in Nursing, where he worked in numerous hospitals throughout the United States. He recently retired in September after 40 years of Nursing.

Michael had a passion for people and made friends nearly everywhere he went. He traveled often, even living in Alaska for a few years, which he often spoke very fondly of. He loved adventure, the outdoors, and the many hobbies he showed enthusiasm for. Riding motorcycles was a passion he had from a young age, as well as car racing. He also enjoyed spending time with loved ones and friends, new and old. He was a loving and caring person and touched the lives of many as a devoted life partner, Father, Uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed by many whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Devlin and Margaret Marie Devlin.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Deena Johnson, of Greeneville, TN; Son, Chris (Amy) Joslin and Grandchild, Aaron Joslin, of Indianapolis, IN; Step-mother, Alicia Devlin of Clearwater, FL; Brother, James (Lauri) Devlin of Apex, NC; Step-brothers Pablo (Trisha) Penabade and Rolando (Bruni) Penabade of Tampa, FL; Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday, October 29th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Doughty Stevens Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael's life.
