Dan Marvin Holland, age 72, of Wingo, KY died at 4:30 PM Thursday May 28, 2009, at his residence.
Dan was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Wingo and was a retired manager from the Merchant Grain & Transportation Company. He was the son of the late L. R. and Bessie (Austin) Holland.
He is survived by his wife of 51 yrs. Jo Ann Holland of Wingo, KY. Son - Nad Holland of Wingo, KY. Son - Rex Holland of Locust Grove, GA. Sister - Addie Beth Johnson of Southaven, MS. 4 Grandchildren & 2 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Krista Holland.
Arrangements are being handled by R. D. Brown Funeral Home, Main Street, Wingo, KY 42088. Funeral Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, KY on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM. with Rev Brent Ballow officiating. Burial will follow in the Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday May 31, 2009.
