James Warner Lansdell, Sr., age 73, of Portland, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born on December 5, 1944, in Humboldt, TN. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served during Vietnam. Jim worked as a Communications Technician at AT&T for 30 years before retiring and beginning a second career as a Real Estate Agent for Coldwell Banker Frewen Realty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Eula Lansdell, his brother, Clifford Lansdell, Jr., and his sister, Vicky Card.
Jim was a long-time member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and loved spending his free time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He always said if he'd known how much fun they were, he would have had them first. His hobbies included traveling, photography, fishing and listening to music. Jim was fascinated by technology and could often be found sitting at a computer. He enjoyed being around people and loved making them laugh.
