Mary L. "Nita" Bunch Mahaffey, 2235 Sycamore, died Sat at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Rosary was held Sun at Fry & Gibbs. Father Carl Vogetl conducted Mass, assisted by Father Michael Baron, Mon, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Born in Paris, daughter of T.R. (Rate) Bunch and Mary Brown Bunch. She attended public schools in Paris and attended Paris Junior College. She lived in Dallas after leaving school and in 1972 she moved to Kerrville. In 1983, she moved back to Paris. She was a member of Victory Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Mary Fay Mahaffey of Austin; 4 sons, Mike Mahaffey of Dallas; Joe D. Mahaffey, of Pittsburg; Thomas J. Mahaffey, of Washington, DC; and John M. Mahaffey, of Austin. Six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Bass, of Paris; 2 brothers, Elma Bunch, of Paris, and Delma Bunch, of Paris, and several nieces and nephews.
