Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers Terry Wayne Lawson and Neal Lawson.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, 6 children, Dora Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Elvis Lawson (Sally) of Williamsburg, KY, Carolyn Lawson Davis (Adam) of Gulfport, MS, Terry Lawson (Beverly) of Williamsburg, KY, Adrienne Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Amy Petrey (Cody) of Williamsburg, KY, 15 grandchildren, 7 sisters, Carolyn Rickett of Williamsburg, KY, Deanna Stephens (Larry) of Jellico, TN, Cathy Powers (David) of Williamsburg, KY, Molly Partin (Michael) of Williamsburg, KY, Thelma Lawson Foley (Arthur) of Williamsburg, KY, Connie Lambdin, (David) of Williamsburg, Stacy Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, 4 brothers, Ledford Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Rick Lawson (Becky) of Williamsburg, KY, David Lawson (Penny) of Dalton, GA, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday October 29, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Rose officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the D.C. Lawson Cemetery on Mud Creek.
