Pearl Baker, 93, of Vienna, passed away October 26, 2018 at Ohio Valley Health Care.

He was born March 12, 1925 in Teges, KY, a son of the late Kenis and Pearlina Bowling Baker.

Pearl Was a US Army and US Navy Veteran who served during WW11. He retired from E.I.DuPont Washington Works after 36 years. He also worked part time in real estate for Mountain State Realty. He loved being at home sitting on his back porch, doing yard work, gardening and working around the house. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church in Vienna.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Eleanor Marshall Baker; two daughters, Sally Wasserman (Steven) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Jenny McCormick (Marc) of Vienna; two grandchildren, Amanda Wasserman of New York City, NY and Rachel Greenberg (Lonnie) of Jupiter FL; two great-grandchildren, Elliot and Emilia Greenberg; one sister, Sylvia Martin of Mansfield, OH; one brother, Kenis Baker, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Pearl will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St, Parkersburg with Rev. Emilie E. Theobold-Rowlands officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg with full military honors by American Legion Post #15.
