Ted was a faithful member and lead guitarist at My Father’s House Church in Lenoir City. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Ted was a loyal manager of WKXV A.M. 900 and F.M. 100.7 for 32 years. He was a member of several different singing groups including: Cedar Ridge, Christian Heart, Barrel House Band, Melanie and the Meltones, and performed with various other artists.
Preceded in death by his father, Ted H. Lowe, Sr.; grandparents, and father-in-law, Billy Green.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cathy G. Lowe; daughter, Lana Lowe; mother, Brenda V. Lowe; sisters, Lisa Lowe, Mary Lowe Graham (Brett), and Angela Lowe; mother-in-law, Barbara Green; sisters-in-law, Pam Harris (John) and Marnita Baker (Brent); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many precious fur babies.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 27th at My Father’s House Church, 201 North A Street, Lenoir City. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor David Thompson officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Monday at Edgewood Cemetery, 229 S. Gallaher View Road, Knoxville for graveside services.
