Bradley C. Griffith was born in Denver, Colorado, and spent the first ten years of his life in that state, living at different times in Rifle and in Glenwood Springs. Around 1935, he moved with his adoptive parents, Paul and Charlestine Nash Griffith, to Charlestine's hometown of Princeton, Indiana. He remained in Princeton until graduating from Princeton High School in 1943, when he joined the U. S. Navy, becoming a "Seabee." He was discharged from the service in 1946, at the close of World War II, and enrolled in pharmacy school at Purdue University. On August 24, 1947, he and Doris Epperson of Haubstadt, Indiana, were married in Princeton. They then moved together to West Lafayette, where Brad finished school in 1950. His first job as a pharmacist was in Evansville, Indiana, with Woods Pharmacy. He and Doris lived in Evansville for about four years, and their first child was born there in 1952. In 1954, the Griffiths moved to Princeton for Brad to become manager of Shoptaugh Drug Co., which had been his maternal grandfather's drugstore. Eventually, Brad bought the drugstore from his mother and her siblings, and he remained the owner and manager of Shoptaugh's until his retirement at the age of 65 in 1990.
Brad was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, who passed away in 1996. Brad and Doris are survived by their two daughters, Cheryl (Cheri) Nichols and Lisa Ristow; two sons-in-law, Mark Nichols and Kurt Ristow; and one grandson, Will Nichols.
