Erin LeeAnn (Wade) Jones 31 died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her residence in Dodge City, Kans. She was born March 2, 1976 at Jetmore, Kans., the daughter of Lyman L. and Carol A. (Maring) Wade.
Erin attended school in Cimarron and graduated from Cimarron High School. She worked at Bank of America in Dodge City as a teller coordinator. She performed in Several Boot Hill Repertory Company productions. Erin was was an extremely loving mother and caring person.
Survivors include on daughter Starla Jones; one son, Dalton Jones, both of Dodge City; her parents, Lyman L. and Carol A. Wade of Cimarron; one sister, Theresa Crout, Denver, Colo.; and her grandfather, Ivan Kirk Maring, Logan Manor Nursing Home, Logan, Kans. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Kirk" Wade on July 14, 2006.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church of Cimarron on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 10:30 am with Rev. Richard Deimund presiding. She is buried beside her brother Robert "Kirk" Wade.
Erin was the victim of a senseless murder.
