Grid Great Graham's Father Dies MR. OTTO E. GRAHAM SR.. 76. 3261 Wickersham Court, nationally known bandmaster, composer of band music and father of one of the country's best known football coaches, died Thursday. A native of Marquanil, Mo., and a graduate of State Teachers College, Kirksville, Mo., Mr. Graham moved to Orlando three years ago from Waukegan, III. HE WAS known as one of the most outstanding band directors in the United States. He helped organize the Illinois High School Band Association Mr. Otto Graham Sr. : and was on the board of the Waukegan Philharmonic Society. He was a member of the American Bandmasters Association and well known as an adjudicator, c I i n i c a n , composer and guest conductor of bands throughout the country. HIS SON, Capt. Otto E. Graham - Jr.K former Cleveland Browns quarterback and coach of the Washington Redskins, is athletic director of the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn. Survivors also include his widow, Cordonna; sons, Eugene, Orlando, Victor H Arlington Heights, III., and Richard L., Waukegan; 10 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Carey Hand Chapel in Orlando and the body sent to Waukegan for services and burial there.
