NEW LONDON — Funeral services for Mr. Eric Jennings, 48, of New London, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Wesley Wyatt officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Davis Cemetery under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mr. Jennings was born June 21, 1970 in Stuttgart, Germany and lived his life in East Texas, and was a welder by trade. Eric loved music and Nascar, and read Stephen King novels in his spare time. He especially enjoyed spending time with all his kids. He also served his country in the US Navy during the Persian Gulf War.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph A. and Loretta Doyle; step-father, Joe Gail Duncan; and step-brother, Joe Kirk Duncan.
Survivors include: wife, Jill Jennings of Overton; mother, Jo Beth Duncan of Henderson; children, Hailey Buettner and husband Glenn of Sulphur, LA, Cora Humes of Henderson, Hannah Jennings of Dallas, Cameron Jennings of Grand Prairie, Meghan Jennings, and Morgan Jennings, both of Overton; five grandchildren, Zoey Buettner, Makenna Patterson, Sophia Buettner, Bryce Patterson, and Felicity Buettner; sisters, Elisha Cartee with Cindy Aaron of Henderson, and Lettie Vick and husband Shane of New London; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Pallbearers are Allen Welch, Jim Grant, Matt Holt, Michael Browning, Bill Youngblood, Nathan Sherven, Chris Gaddy, Jon Randoulph, and Mitchell McCormick.
