Patrick Dean McBride was born May 30th, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. He entered the gates of heaven on October 23rd, 2018 after a brave fight with esophageal cancer. He was the youngest of four children born to Gary and Judy McBride.

Patrick grew up in Richardson, Texas. He graduated from JJ Pearce High School in 1986 and attended Texas Tech University.

He lived in Chicago for several years before moving back to his hometown of Richardson, where he resided the last several years.

Patrick loved the outdoors. He excelled at so many hobbies. Fishing, hunting, boating and golfing were all passions of his. He made sure he had all the skis, rafts and tubes for his boat to keep everyone entertained.

Even more, he loved just spending time with family and friends. He was dedicated to anyone he loved. He would do anything to help out a friend. Patrick could also fix anything! If someone had a plumbing, car or electrical problem he would take care of it. He was a hard worker, in every aspect of his life.

He had a quick wit that gave us so many memories with smiles and laughter.

God gave him the gifts of compassion and meekness. He loved deeply, yet quietly.

He was a good friend, a wonderful cousin and nephew, a beloved uncle, a dedicated brother and the best son anyone could ask for. We are already missing him, greatly. We know he is experiencing such joy and peace with our Heavenly Father!

Patrick is preceded in death by his father, Gary Dean McBride and grandparents, Wayne & Grace McBride and L.D. & Juanita Patterson and cousin Reagan Austin Beene.

He is survived by his mother, Judy McBride, brother, Mike McBride & wife, Vickie, his sister, Kelly Terry & husband, Max, his sister, Amy McBride, his niece, Mackenzie McBride, his nephews, Max Terry Jr., Jake Terry and Matthew McBride and wife, Katie. He is also survived by many loving friends and family who were blessed to have known him. He was so loved!

A memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 28th at Brookhaven Church, 6101 Stacy Road in McKinney, Texas. A reception at the church will follow.
