Todd Andrew Harris, age 35, passed away in Gilbert, Arizona on January 15, 2018. He was born on May 28, 1982 in Mesa, Arizona, the youngest child of Jack and Lorraine Harris. Todd was raised in Mesa and graduated with honors from Mesa High School in 2000. He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Antananarivo, Madagascar from 2001-2002.
Like his dad, Todd was gifted mechanically and had a bright mind. For many years, he was the service manager in the family air conditioning business, Valley's BEST Air Conditioning. He was the life of every party. People loved to be around him because he made everyone laugh. He was a favorite uncle of his many nieces and nephews. He spent time playing games and having fun with them. He made them feel special, and they in turn adored him.
Todd had a tender heart and was kind, generous, compassionate and caring of those around him, especially those who were downtrodden. He always had a smile and uplifted those around him, even when he was experiencing challenges. He never spoke ill of anyone. He was ever willing to extend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. He was an exceptional son, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves an empty space in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Todd is survived by his parents, Jack and Lorraine Harris, brother Kevin Harris (Rinna), sister Kristie Merrill (Adam), brother Chad Harris (Megan), 13 nephews, 6 nieces, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
We are certain that he was joyfully welcomed across the veil by loved ones who preceded him in death, including his grandparents Roy and Naomi Harris and Jay and Louise Hatch.
A visitation will be held at the Vincenz Ward LDS meetinghouse at 2700 E. Galveston St., Gilbert, Arizona on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service honoring his life will be held at the same location on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
