Daniel Robert Boyd was born in Lake County, Ohio, April 11, 1834, and passed away at the home west of Reynolds, July 3, 1917, aged 83 years, 2 months, and 22 days.
He was married to Lydia Ann Frantz, at Kohoka, Mo., May 12, 1867. To this union nine children were born, four boys and five girls, eight of whom are still living, one dying in infancy. These with the wife, seventeen grandchildren and three brothers are left to mourn his departure.
Rev. Kellogg of Hubbell had charge of the services and internment in the Reynolde (Sic) cemetery.
