Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jake Brady officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.
Evelyn was born in Gadsden. She later lived in Cottondale, before her family moved to Hartford when she was six. She grew up in Hartford and graduated from Geneva County High School. Later she attended business school in Montgomery, before marrying her sweetheart, James Kelly. They moved to Geneva where James practiced law until shortly before his death in 2008. Evelyn worked at Colonial Products until her son Mike was born, when she became a full time homemaker.
Evelyn took great pride in her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her dogs. She loved them dearly and spent her life making theirs better.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Kelly; three brothers, Earl, Bill, and Robert Henry.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, one son and daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew..
The family would like to personally thank Mrs. Kelly’s special caretakers, Aaron Kelley, Gloyce Curry, and Ronali Goodwin for their devoted love and care.
