On October 24, 2018, Janette Ann Jones peacefully slipped from her family's hands to those of her Savior at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Janette was born June 23, 1954, in Chillicothe, MO, the daughter of Charles and Donna Sutherland. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1972. Janette married her high school sweetheart, Clifford Russell Kerby (1951-2016) in 1972; they had three children – Tonya, Windy and Brandon.
In 1987, Janette married Lonnie Jones who survives at the home. She received her associate degree and pursued a career with the Kansas 18th Judicial Courthouse, where she was an Administration Assistant/Bailiff. Upon her retirement, Janette and Lonnie moved to their home on Table Rock Lake where she was able to spend precious time with her family and friends, along with her hobbies and crafts.
Janette is survived by her husband, Lonnie, daughters, Tonya, and Windy, son, Brandon. Grandchildren; Ashton, Kyndall, Andrew, Mya, Tommy, Kaelyn, and Clifford. One great-grandchild; Averianna. Sister, Nancy J., brothers, Roger W. (Norma) and Charles R. of West Virginia.
Janette was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Debra Kay and cousins Carla Bowman and Jeffrey Bowman.
Janette was proud to be an organ donor. Services are under direction of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta, MO. Internment and a celebration of Janette's life will be at a later date in West Virginia.
