Connie Rae Moody, 68, passed away tragically on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

She was born on September 23, 1950 to Nona Domingue Stutes and Rodney V. Stutes, Sr. in Winnie, Texas. She deeply loved her family. She was an excellent singer and cook and enjoyed the theater. She also enjoyed making jewelry and playing bingo. She will be remembered for her artistic talents and generosity. She is said to have never met a stranger. She was generous, fun loving and had a big heart and a huge laugh.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 48 years, James (Darold) Moody; sons, Jason Moody and wife Sheila, Jared Moody and wife Jennifer, and Jermey Moody and wife Damiana; grandchildren, Skylar, Jace, Leith, Maggie, Emagin, Maile, and Brendan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Rodney V. Stutes, Jr. (Bud).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Trey Ange will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens.
