Todd Matthew Jones departed this life on Friday, February 12, 2016, in Roanoke, Va., after a lengthy illness. Todd was born in Roanoke, Va., on December 10, 1963, to Betty Reed Jones and the late Edward Jones. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Kay Jones; and grandparents, Sherman and Diane Reed.Those left to cherish his memory and mourn their loss are his mother, Betty Reed Jones, of Roanoke; brother, Stephen Jones, of Northern Virginia; uncle, Nelson (Veronica) Reed, of Roanoke; aunt, Arlene Hale, of Roanoke; a host of cousins and friends.Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with the Rev. Joseph A. Keaton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome or a donation to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association, 2800 N. Parham Road Ste. 208, Richmond, VA 23294 is appreciated.
