Janet Olson 67, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Morris County Hospital.

She was born June 13, 1951 in Council Grove, KS, the daughter of Charles "Tony" and Velda "Red" (Stevenson) Stone. Jan lived in Council Grove and Dwight area all her life. She married Steve Olson September 28, 1981. She had various jobs throughout her life, the most enjoyable was her time spent at the American Legion.

Jan was an avid sports fan especially of the Royals, Jayhawks and Chiefs. She and her husband Steve also enjoyed trips to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Steve of the home; daughter Lisa and Justin Good, and son Zachary Olson, all of Council Grove; sister Cindy and Joedy Diedrich of Emporia; granddaughters Kristen (Matt) Timmons of Manhattan, Stefani Moyer and Cienna Good of Council Grove; great-grandsons Hudson, Cane and Landin: a great-granddaughter on the way; niece Sarah (Jake) Moulton of Madison and nephew Matt (Jen) Freeby of Emporia.

A Celebration of Jan's Life will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 28, 2018, at Zeiner Funeral Home of Council Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jan Olson Memorial Fund.
